ลักษณะอาการของโรค (Disease symptoms and developments)

บนใบทุเรียนพันธุ์หมอนทองที่เป็นโรค พบจุดแผลขนาดเล็กสีดำประมาณ 1 มม.  รอบจุดแผลมีเนื้อเยื่อสีเหลืองล้อมรอบ บนใบแก่ของทุเรียนจุดแผลเพิ่มจำนวนมากขึ้นและขยายขนาดใหญ่ขึ้นเป็นวงกลมเห็นได้ชัดมากขึ้น ขอบแผลมีสีน้ำตาลเข้มส่วนเนื้อเยื่อตรงกลางเป็นสีซีดขาวหรือน้ำตาลอ่อน รอบจุดแผลซึ่งมีเนื้อเยื่อสีเหลือง พบว่าขยายบริเวณออกไปมากเห็นได้ชัดเจน บนรอยแผลพบ pycnidia ของเชื้อราเป็นจุดเล็กๆสีดำ ซึ่งเมื่อตัดเนื้อเยื่อดูภายใต้กล้องจุลทรรศน์ จะเห็น conidia ปริมาณมาก  ส่วนของพืชที่ถูกทำลาย: ใบ

การแพร่กระจาย (Distribution)

ในประเทศไทยพบที่จันทบุรี ตราด และแหล่งปลูกทุเรียนทั่วประเทศ ในต่างประเทศ มีรายงานพบเชื้อนี้ในทุเรียนที่ประเทศบรูไน เมียนมาร์ และมาเลเซีย

วิธีการควบคุม (Control measure)

ใช้สารเคมีและ/หรือชีวภัณฑ์ฉีดพ่นป้องกันเชื้อในระยะกล้าจนถึงระยะต้นโต เก็บใบที่เป็นโรคออกจากต้นและนำออกไปกำจัดนอกแปลง
