-ปลูกพืชพันธุ์ต้านทาน
-กำจัดวัชพืชและตัดแต่งกิ่งในสวนยางพารา เพื่อลดความชื้นในสวนยาง
-เมื่อพบโรคให้ใช้สารเคมี เมทาแลคซิล กรือ ฟอสเอซิลขอลูมินัม ทาที่หน้ากรีดเพื่อป้องกันโรคเส้นดำ
-ตัดยางใหญ่ที่เกิดใบร่วงหมด ควรหยุดกรีดหน้ายาง และใส่ปุ๋ยบำรุงต้นยางให้สมบูรณ์
