ใบเป็นสีเหลือง มีกลุ่มเชื้อรา คล้ายน้ำค้างบนใบ ต่อไปจุดนี้จะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีเทาหรือสีน้ำตาลดำ ด้านใต้ใบพบเส้นใยของเชื้อราสีขาวปนเทาฟูขึ้นมา ใบที่เป็นโรคเปลี่ยนเป็นสีน้ำตาล แห้งกรอบ ใบจะร่วงเร็วกว่าปรกติ เมล็ดที่มีเชื้อราจะมีสีขาวขุ่น หรือมีผงคล้ายแป้งเกาะติดอยู่ ส่วนของพืชที่ถูกทำลาย: ใบ
