เป็นจุดสีน้ำตาลเข้มบนด้านใดด้านหนึ่งของผล จากนั้นแผลขยายออกและรวมกันเป็นลักษณะรูปร่างที่ไม่แน่นอน เนื้อเยื่อยุบตัวลง  ผลจะหยุดการเจริญและเปลี่ยนเป็นสีดำ ผลร่วง ใบร่วง ส่วนของพืชที่ถูกทำลาย: ใบ ผล

กำจัดส่วนที่พบโรคและตัดแต่งกิ่งกาแฟหลังการเก็บเกี่ยวผลกาแฟ ใช้สารชีวภัณฑ์ฉีดพ่นบนใบและดอกกาแฟเพื่อป้องกันเชื้อราเข้าทำลายใบและผลกาแฟ
