ใบจุดสีขาว  น้ำตาลอ่อนหรือเทาขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 2-3 มิลลิเมตร ขอบแผลสีน้ำตาลเข้มล้อมรอบด้วยบริเวณเหลืองใสเมื่อสภาพแวดล้อมเอื้อแผลขยายเชื่อมต่อถึงกันทำให้ใบแห้งและแตกใบร่วงก่อนกำหนดอาการรุนแรงเชื้ออาจลุกลามทำลายกลีบดอกหรือขั้วฝักพริกทำให้ผลผลิตเสียหายหรือผลผลิตด้อยคุณภาพพบการระบาดในพื้นที่ที่อากาศเย็นในเวลากลางคืนเช่นในพื้นที่ภูมิประเทศเป็นภูเขาหรือที่ราบสูง ส่วนของพืชที่ถูกทำลาย: ใบ
