สภาพแวดล้อมที่เหมาะสม (Favorable condition)

ในสภาพความชื้นดินสูงสลับแห้ง อุณหภูมิอยู่่ระหว่าง 25-35 องศาเซลเซียส และหากไม่มีการเปลี่ยนพืชหรือพักแปลงดินเป็นสาเหตุให้ไส้เดือนฝอยชนิดนี้อาศัยอยู่อย่างต่อเนื่อง

วิธีการควบคุม (Control measure)

ใช้น้ำร้อนที่อุณหภูมิ 46-47.5 องศาเซลเซียส เป็นระยะเวลา 2 ชั่วโมง ในการ treatment หัวพืช เช่น มันฝรั่ง ก่อนปลูก
ปลูกพืชหมุนเวียนกับพืชที่ไม่ใช่พืชอาศัยของไส้เดือนฝอย
